Mike Brandt’s client was charged with DWI, Careless Driving, and Speeding for an incident that occurred in April of 2017 in Maple Grove, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Even though Mike’s client had a relatively high test reading, Mike was able to convince the prosecutor to dismiss the DWI charge and allow the client to plead to the Careless Driving charge, based upon the facts of the case, his client’s lack of prior record, and some other factors. Mike was able to settle the case and his client avoided having a DWI conviction on her record. The client was given a fine and ordered to do 2 days of Community Service and attend a DWI class. The other charges issued against her were dismissed.
