Nicole Kettwick’s client was charged with Third Degree DWI, a gross misdemeanor, in the City of Champlin. Nicole obtained all of the evidence including the reports for the DMT, the machine on which her client gave a breath sample. She had multiple discussions with the Prosecutor regarding the facts of the case as well as her client’s personal situation and entered into a negotiation whereby her client pled guilty to a lesser charge of Fourth Degree DWI, a misdemeanor, despite the high test reading. Nicole was able to prevent her client from serving further jail time as well as minimize the requirements and length of probation.
