Cory, formerly Nicole Kettwick’s assistant and now Mike Brandt’s, has been at Brandt Criminal Defense for over two years. He graduated with honors from the University of St. Thomas and will be starting law school there in the fall of 2019. Cory enjoys working with clients to provide exceptional service and help make their legal process as seamless as possible.
Cory has an inclination towards service as he serves on the 21st District Ethics Committee which investigates ethical complaints made against attorneys in Anoka County. Also, in college, he was the president of an on-campus leadership club that organized volunteer opportunities for St. Thomas students. He also volunteered for Tubman family services as a legal advocate assisting attorney’s who provide pro-bono legal advice to families in need and has served as an academic mentor for a juvenile in the Hennepin Country criminal probation system.
In his spare time, Cory enjoys listening to music, reading, and organizing things (not a joke). He also enjoys binge-watching Netflix with his girlfriend, messing around with his friends, and spending quality time with his family.
