Mike Brandt’s client was charged with Disorderly Conduct for harassing an individual that he thought had been stalking him. The man involved was a complete stranger and was rightfully alarmed by Mike’s client’s behavior. In preparing the case, Mike was able to secure documentation that his client had no prior criminal history of any kind, had undergone a change in his medication which had caused him to behave erratically, and provided other information to the prosecutor regarding this incident. Based upon all of this information the Prosecuting Attorney agreed to dismiss Mike’s client’s charges in one year as long as Mike’s client stayed out of trouble. This gave Mike’s client the chance to have a perfectly clean record and have this matter sealed so no one would be able to see that it ever happened.
This type of result culminates from careful preparation, knowledge of the law, as well as his relationship with the Prosecuting Attorneys.
