According to MN Statute § 169A.275 if you get a second DWI within 10 years of your first, you will either be sentenced to a minimum of 30 days of incarnation, at least 48 of those hours which must be served in a local correction facility or eight hours of community work service for each day less than 30 days that the you are ordered to serve in a local correctional facility. Like most aspects of the law there are exceptions and other circumstances depending on each individual case.
While this may be a new and scary experience for you, DWI lawyers have been through the process many times. They are able to evaluate your unique situation and come up with a game plan so you can move on with your life in a positive direction.
