Mike’s client was charged with felony Strangulation and Domestic Assault for an incident where he was alleged to have choked his live-in girlfriend. Mike’s client had always maintained his innocence and had always asserted that he had been acting in self-defense when he had been attacked by the alleged victim in the case.
In preparation for trial, Mike conducted a thorough investigation of the case, obtained photographs of the evidence, and provided the prosecutor with numerous reasons as to how and why his client was acting in self-defense. The State would not negotiate so Mike brought the case to trial before a Judge. Upon review of the evidence and hearing the arguments, the Judge issued an Order finding Mike’s client not guilty of all charges.
This type of disposition is the result of thorough preparation, painstaking research, and proper investigation that Brandt Kettwick Defense brings to all their cases.
