Nicole’s client was charged with speeding in June of 2016. The Police Officer recorded her driving 46 mph in a 30 mph zone. This was the individual’s sixth ticket, meaning that a conviction of this offense would affect the client’s driving privileges. Nicole was able to prepare the case by obtaining all of the relevant discovery and was able to negotiate with the Prosecutor who agreed to a Stay of Adjudication. This means that as long as Nicole’s client completes minimal requirements such as a six-hour online driving course and does not get another speeding ticket in the next year, there will be no conviction on the June, 2016 speeding ticket, thus preventing any changes to their driving privileges.
